Nazari Digar, which means Different View, is a non-profit organisation that aims bring hope and practical support to children with Down's Syndrome (DS) and their families in Tajikistan and Central Asia.
Our mission is simple – to help people with Down syndrome live active, fulfilling lives by providing essential support, education, and raising awareness about their abilities.

In countries like Tajikistan and across Central Asia, there are very few accessible courses or reliable information on this subject, leaving many families without the guidance they need.
By delivering this vital knowledge directly to them, we empower caregivers with skills, understanding, and confidence, ensuring that every child with DS is supported with dignity and love.

Tahmina is the inspiring founder of Nazari Digar, a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting children with Down syndrome in Tajikistan and across Central Asia. Originally from Tajikistan herself, Tahmina carries a deep commitment to creating opportunities for the most vulnerable. Through Nazari Digar, she ensures that children with Down syndrome have access to education, essential therapies, and the chance to be seen for their unique abilities.
Beyond her charity work, Tahmina is a passionate human rights and female rights activist. She tirelessly advocates for dignity, inclusion, and equality, believing that every child and woman deserves to live a life of respect and opportunity. Her vision, courage, and dedication continue to change lives and bring hope to communities often left without support.
